Today, kids are so padded, protected, and watched over. When you compare their sad little bubbles to our worlds, the differences are huge, no happy medium. When you look at the contraptions of the past, you wonder "How did we survive?"

The metal, the height.. it wasn't really a high chair but so many parents used them as a booster seat. Today's kids need seat belts at the table -

These were so much fun but we all had to use our own feet. I remember taking the skin off when I used my feet to push and my legs aching from using those pedals. But we had muscles and we were lean, mean, healthy little machines -

I'm not sure if this was a car seat or a booster seat. If it was a carseat it was definitely not safe, if it was a booster seat it might have been a little overdone. -
